Days for Girls Project

Turning Periods into Pathways

The mission of Days for Girls is to change the status quo, through menstrual care solutions, health education, and income-generation opportunities.  In less than 10 years, they've reached one million women and girls in 120+ countries on 6 continents.

Penticton Alliance Church actively supports the Days for Girls with an annual sewing project, of reusable feminine hygiene kits.  These kits will provide women and girls with dignity, health and opportunities.

September 2018, wonderful volunteers spent many hours sewing and putting together 60 kits.

The next sewing project will be September 16th to 20th, 2019.  If you would like to help, join us in the church foyer 9 am - 3 pm.  Questions?  Contact Greta Loeppky (250.486.3659)
