Women's Ministries exists to point women in our church, our neighbourhoods and our city to Jesus through Bible studies, events and social activities. We also want to bring awareness to and raise funds for the missions of the Christian & Missionary Alliance around the world.
We offer weekly Bible studies from autumn through to spring. We host a number of special events designed to welcome the women in our lives into fellowship and we hold a fundraising event each year to support our international workers.
For more information, please contact Joy Huebert, Director of Women's Ministries, at the church office Tuesday through Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 250-493-7136 or email Joy. Home for the Holidays
One of the special events held during the year is Home for the Holidays, a Christmas dinner & program hosted by ladies of the church for the community. All the tables are beautifully decorated by individual ladies with their special china, linens and unique centre pieces. Christmas dinner is followed by a program of drama, music, door prizes and Christmas carols.
Home for the Holidays was held on Monday, December 12 this year and we enjoyed a tasty dinner, door prizes (humorously hosted by Grant Bogyo) and touching stories, read by Joy. Thank you to all the ladies who decorated their tables, each one uniquely beautiful. Thank you also to the men who worked hard all night serving drinks and clearing tables.
See the slide show below of the decorated tables from Home for the Holidays 2011:
