Days for Girls

Days for Girls has, for now, run it's course at PAC and had our last project in 2024. We look forward to seeing what God has for us next.

The mission of Days for Girls is to change the status quo, through menstrual care solutions, health education, and income-generation opportunities.  In less than 10 years, they've reached one million women and girls in 120+ countries on 6 continents.

Penticton Alliance Church actively supports the Days for Girls with an annual sewing project, of reusable feminine hygiene kits.  These kits will provide women and girls with dignity, health and opportunities.

Days for Girls Work Bee
organizer: Greta Loeppky

Come out whenever you can on a drop in basis to the church. We will be creating and putting together everything we have been collecting and working on this past year. All ladies are welcome to come and help put the kits together.

Days for Girls was a long running ministry of our church for about 10 years. 2024 was our last year due to volunteer life situations which challenged the ministry's viability. We are thankful to all the amazing women who worked so hard during the past many years. We know if God wants this ministry back in action, we will be excited to see that happen.
